  • Blaze (The Second)

    Blaze is a black night x black pearl x charcoal male leopard gecko. He is named after the original Blaze who founded Blazing Reptiles and will hopefully father many beautiful baby geckos. Name origin: Blaze is another word for a small flame or fire.

  • Flare

    Flare is a black night x wild type female leopard gecko. Because of her lack of het genes, her offspring with Blaze should lead to some nice dark babies! Name origin: A flare is a sudden burst of flame.

Ackie Monitor Lizard (Varanus acanthurus)

All ackie monitors have dragon-themed names

  • Daenerys (The Second)

    Daenerys is a female red Ackie Monitor. Breeding her with Smaug will hopefully lead to some beautiful pure bred red ackies. Name origin: Daenerys Targaryen is the “Mother of Dragons” in the Game Of Thrones series.

Bearded Dragons (Pogona vitticeps)

All bearded dragons have Frito-Lay, Inc themed names

  • Flamin' Hot

    Flamin’ Hot is a ½ red monster x het hypotrans bearded dragon female. This stunning female will be bred out when she comes of age with another red monster to make stunning babies, but in the mean time will be used as an educational ambassador. Name origin: Flamin’ Hot is a flavor of Cheeto.

  • Rory

    Rory is a female redfoot tortoise. She was turned over by a responsible owner who realized he did not have the proper time to care for a reptile and now will be used as an animal ambassador to help educate new per owners about tortoise husbandry and ecology. Name origin: Rory is Irish for “Red king.”

In Memorium
These reptiles helped to shape Blazing Reptiles but have passed away. They shall be remembered.

  • Blaze

    The inspiration for Blazing Gecko Productions/Blazing Reptiles, Blaze was a High Yellow male Leopard Gecko. He lived 17 wonderful years and traveled across the east coast of the United States from Florida to New York. His smile was infectious and he touched so many lives during his time on Earth. Rest in peace.

  • Sol (Lemonade)

    Sol (Lemonade) was a beautiful Murphy Patternless female Leopard Gecko. She was Moto’s main mate but a bacterial infection spread through the breeding group and she unfortunately did not survive. The offspring she produced still live to this day so she lives on through them.

  • Marigold

    Marigold was a female Fancy Bearded Dragon. She came to me as a rescue with a missing tail and swollen feet. She enjoyed having time outside in the sun and worked well as an ambassador animal due to her calm nature. Unfortunately she passed away but will always be remembered.

  • Cheeto

    Cheeto was an adult male Red Hypo Translucent Leatherback Bearded Dragon. He was a great educational animal because of his laid-back nature and loved to spend time outside in his rabbit hutch while interacting with Jazz the dog. He will be missed greatly.

  • Gwumpibelle

    Gwumpibelle was a Bushveld Rain Frog. She was an amazing little frog that touched the hearts of everyone she met. A wonderful ambassador that will be missed.

  • Boy George

    Boy George was a male blue bar Ambilobe Panther Chameleon. He was an amazing animal ambassador who unfortunately passed away after a four month battle with a bacterial infection. He will be sorely missed.

  • Daenerys

    Daenerys was a female Ackie Monitor Lizard. She mothered many offspring with Smaug and was always eager to be handled. Because she was a rescue, we were uncertain of her age and she died suddenly from a random seizure attack. She was a lovely reptile and her absence is felt by all.

  • Smaug

    Smaug was a male Ackie Monitor Lizard. He was not only a great breeding male, but also a great ambassador for his species. He was very friendly with new people and helped teach people about reptile husbandry. His passing will be felt by many and there will be no monitor quite like him ever again.
