Our rates are as follows and are per reptile/amphibian:

$65/day for 1 - 3 days

$60/day 4 - 7 days

$50/day for 1 - 2 weeks

$40/day for up to 2 - 4 weeks

$30/day for over 1 month

Frequently Asked Questions

  • That is on a case-by-case basis. It is always helpful to bring your own if possible but we generally have extra enclosures on site to house reptiles.

  • Yes! We will calculate the difference and refund you the amount that would be deducted for the longer stay.

    Returning early does not get a refunded fee of any sort.

  • If you do not contact or return within 2 days (48 hours) of the time you initially stated, your reptile is considered abandoned and forfeited over to Blazing Reptiles, where it will live as an ambassador animal.

  • Gladly! We understand how important your reptile or amphibian is to you so if you would like, we can give daily updates if you request it.

  • Here is the list of animals we do not watch:

    Mammals, birds, fish/aquatics, crocodilians, venomous reptiles, aquatic/semi-aquatic turtles, illegal reptiles, and reptiles with serious medical conditions.

  • Many! Here is a list of them:

    Geckos, frogs, salamanders, toads, agamids, monitors, colubrids, pythons, boas, iguanids, tegus, tarantulas, scorpions, jumping spiders, hissing cockroaches, and box turtles.

Blazing Reptiles Pet-Sitting Policy



We accept Zelle, PayPal, Cashapp, Venmo and all major credit cards! 

Payment is made before the day of the intended pet-sitting event.

Animals with serious medical conditions WILL BE REFUSED.  Please take them to a veterinarian.

 Payment will not be refunded if there is an early pickup. 

The animals we do not watch are mammals, birds, fish/aquatics, crocodilians, venomous reptiles, aquatic/semi-aquatic turtles, illegal reptiles, and reptiles with serious medical conditions.

If you do not return within 2 days (48 hours) of the time you initially stated, your reptile is considered abandoned and forfeited over to Blazing Reptiles, where it will live as an ambassador animal.


THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT.  Nor is Blazing Reptiles.  Reptile Husbandry is an ever changing hobby.  However, Blazing Reptiles is going to always suggest techniques that have best worked for our reptiles and others in the greater reptile community.  Ignoring these recommendations may lead to a decline of service.

**Any deposit put down is non-refundable and covers the care of the animal while it is being held with the good faith that full-payment will be met in a timely manner.**
